Why Not Try Something Different in Cairns This New Years Eve

Party Bus tours have sprung up in all the popular vacation destinations lately. And so they should. They make a good evening impossible not to have. Both party bus tours operate two nights a week. I’m sure they work in similar ways in other places such as Byron Bay and Sydney, but I have experience of the Cairns one so I’ll describe it.

There’s prizes and party games and of the utmost importance, the owners endeavour to keep the split of boys and girls similar. Many people have found love on a party tour. It probably will only last until the vacations over, but as long as no-one gets hurt it’s harmless isn’t it?

Popular with both backpackers and locals, these tours also attract Hens & Bucks nights, sporting teams and groups from the armed services.

Basically your night runs like this; Everyone meets at the first pub at a preordained time, this is where travel vouchers and money is organised and the all important bracelet is given to you. This ID bracelet is what gets you entry to the nights pubs & clubs as all entry fee’s are included in your tour price, both on the tour and even when the tour is finished. This usually saves you money on entry fee’s alone, without counting all the other extras. You get VIP service at all the top niteclubs, pubs and bars. There are also prizes including bungy jumps and rafting trips. Fun and games are the order of the night, with the organisers knowing how to get the party started.

Party Bus tours also operate on special occaisions like Cairns New Years Eve. They’re a great way to beat the crowds and avoid having to pay cover charges. You are transfered between each pub by bus and if you are lucky it might even be in an open topped london style bus. We have 2 similar Party Tours in Cairns, who are doing specdial New Years Eve Parties, Ultimate Party New Years Cairns and Fitzroy Island New Years Eve.

So if you’re just arrived in town, or travelling solo, or just after a no hassles great night out try an organised party bus tour, you won’t regret it.

Thailand Diving

Thailand means “the land of the loose”, it lies in the heart of Southeast Asia. It is one of the most exquisite areas in the entire world and 1 can only experience the unique elegance of the place after you get there. The fresh air kissing your face as soon as you walk on the beach, the mouth watering dishes and the rush and insanity in the market is something you are going to perhaps not get to view anyplace else.

Thailand is an ideally suited holiday destination for all, from people who are searching for a romantic getaway, to shoppers to the food lovers as you get to taste varieties of sea food, down in the road to the most high priced restaurants. It offers something to every traveler.

Many travelers also come right here for adventurous holiday. As this place provide all kinds of sport for all ages like scuba diving, snorkeling, wind-surfing and water-skiing .After all these activities you can simply loosen up by lounging on the beautiful beach sipping your preferred drink with a positive company.

Bangkok is the capital of Thailand.Bankok means “city of angels”, it is really a minor Thailand in itself. It is the centre of commercial, industrial and cultural pursuits. If you are searching for peace and simplicity you will probably check out the Buddhist temples and the impressive part is it stands by side by side with nightclubs and cafs. You can watch monks walking in their red robes all over the place and 1 may only wonder how they can attain this kind of peacefulness in this rush and busy planet.

Another key attraction in Thailand is Phuket known for its unique island. The nightlife there is lively with its multicuisine restaurants and bars always stuffed with tourists. But of course if are looking for a quite meal you can do that by going to the right spot.

Chiang Mai is a further area which is a mixture of contemporary city lifestyle and the old village attraction. There are elaborate temples and cultural relics some of which are quite old close to 700 years. On the top of the mountain is Doi Suthep monastery which overlooks the fertile valley embracing Chiang Mai.The local night bazaar is the favorite shopping location for tourists where you can purchase hand made local things, tribal wears and also newest contemporary junks for a good bargain.

You will have no difficulty communicating as most of the hotels, restaurants and tourist areas speak English and other European languages.

Fantasy Rocks are yet another scuba-diving site consisting of several enormous rocks completely covered with delicate corals, sea fans, and countless species of fish. They are located to the west of Kohh Similan or Kohh Paed, and are 1 of the more popular diving sites. The beach right here is white like powder. Snorkeling is possible from right here. To the right is found the towering ‘Sailing Rock’, a symbol of Kohh Similan which can be climbed in order to get in a panoramic view of the bay.

Other island groups such as Koh Phi Phi are formed by means of massive limestone and calcium carbonates since prehistoric time.

The only dilemma once you travel to Thailand for scuba diving is the place to begin your diving holiday on the grounds that there are so many amazing dive spots to pick out from and you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Aussies Have A Dry Sense Of Humour

Folks Downunder like to reassure visitors about the harmlessness of the wildlife and countryside while at the same time warning of its dangers. It comes out as a strange mix, making you undecided whether you should be relaxing or fearing for your life. Some Examples I have heard:

“Don’t stress when you’re diving: reef sharks are mostly harmless. Unless you get in their way”

” There’s no sharks here………….the crocodiles ate them all”

“You’ll be OK if you swim inside the stinger enclosure, apart from the Irukandji’s, they can swim through the mesh.

“Spiders? Ah, spiders won’t bite you! They don’t even bite. Well, except for that one. But otherwise, harmless.”

This snake is venomous, but you’ll be right, it’s fangs are at the back of it’s mouth

“No-ones ever been left behind while snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, except that American couple, but they staged it.”

“Cairns is a safe city……………..just don’t walk alone .

“Kangaroos won’t hurt you. Well, unless they kick you in the head. Then you’re pretty much dead.”

Oh, and did you know that koalas, despite appearances, aren’t exactly cute and cuddly animals. They can actually get pretty viscious, which is why it’s so hard to find a place that will let you hold them.

I will either leave Australia with a healthy respect for animals or with plenty of fodder for bad dreams. Though seeing as how I have already gone swimming with reef sharks, stingrays and crocodiles, I think I’ll be okay. I even like holding snakes, though I do insist on reassurances that it won’t bite me, even in a non-venomous way. Spiders are where I draw the line. I’m positive my arachnophobia is incurable.
